Mozilla Firefox 3 does not work with Dlink DIR-655
If you are using Mozilla Firefox 3 with certain routers (especially N-generation routers like the Dlink DIR-655, DIR-635, DIR-625 and others), you might experience issues logging into the administrative interface. So far, I am aware that routers from TrendNet, SMC, Dlink does have products originating from the same source (typically routers with Ubicom chipsets) and are facing this issue.
The interface of the router should be like the following image (if yours is affected).
The problem that you will face when logging into the router's admin interface.
The network connection seems to be down. Press 'Ok' to try again.
This is not an issue with a clean build of Firefox 3, and only occurs when extensions like Firebug, BetterCache or Downloadhelper is used. To login, you can either use another browser or disable the relevant extension. For more details, you might also want to refer to the Mozilla support forum's thread and a post on Downloadhelper's Knowledgebase.
