New CEPAS ezlink cards not compatible with online topup
Will our money spent on purchasing the ezlink card reader be wasted?
It has barely been 2.5 years since the initial launch, but the website is not ready for the new CEPAS cards. Even more worrying is the ambiguous language on the website.
Version 1 says that you will only need a software upgrade
Everywhere with an ez-link card reader from any internet enabled PCVersion 2 says that you will need a new rfid card reader
The current SONY PaSoRi Reader is not compatible with the NEW ez-link cards.An email inquiry about the issue nets me a canned response, as usual.
Look out for the new EZ-Online Reader which will be ready by March 2009.

I've been using the ezlink online topup via a EZLINK topup reader (SONY FELICA)quite a number of times,but now I'm not able to topup my sons'and mine EZlink.This show that what a waste for purchasing this gadget.Is there a software that can upgrade this reader. Thanks
