The White House Website: Today Vs. When Bush Took Office

Wow... the difference is impressive and I actually feel that I have advanced through 20 years. Given that 8 years ago, the website is considered "not bad" and representative of websites of that age, I still feel that they can do better.

Bus Arrival Information for "Academic Belt" (Singapore)
For those who like to know when the buses comes, there is a new web service at http://publictransport.sg/public/ptp/en/Getting-Around/academicBelt.html#academic
Alternatively, you can also SMS 77722 the same bus-stop number to get the arrival times by SMS, useful when you do not have internet access at the bus-stops.
Pity is that this service only works for select bus-stops when the current location tracking system should work for the entire island.

Another feature that also made it into this update is the "InstantResume", allowing internet connection to be maintained for a while before it turns off. This is good for some quick moves and thus you can get back to work quick.
Last is the minor changes they made to the right-click power gauge. We see some reorganization and also the addition of the InstantResume feature.
There was a Lenovo Blog also talking about the feature and the underlying Vista improvements but to me, I see limited differences. But surely, I appreciate new and improved stuff.

D-Link DNS 343 Images
Since I have nothing to do after installing my new NAS (it is still waiting for firmware fixes for 1.5TB drives), I might as well post some images of new my D-Link DNS-343.

External and internal looks
Why buy this? Of course because it is small (only slightly bigger than the volume of the 4 HDD it can hold. However, the size is also probably due to the external powerbrick which is big... or should I say massive.

EDIT: New beta firmware finally enables my config.
Windows 7 Exploration
Is Windows 7 really lighter? Well it might be and reports indicate it does indeed boot faster and runs better. I almost never met with a UAC prompt except when software is installing.
